A little history of SNEAKY PLANET…

We were born in 2014 with a silly idea and a grant from Wakarusa Music Festival. It started with larger-than-life characters that ran around music festivals and danced on stages. Since then, we’ve expanded the storyline and brought the world to life by transforming unusual spaces into magical wonderlands with absurd performances.

We crashed our spaceship at a band house called “The Glitter Pit”, built Chuckle Canyon, and told fortunes in gibberish. We built an inflatable maze and birthed people into a psychedelic dance party in a Quonset-hut turned party warehouse. We turned a defunct duplex kitchen into a DJ Booth. We exhibited our characters at the Pictoplasma Character Conference in Berlin.

Our universe is constantly exploring, experimenting, and building. Our mission is to celebrate the absurd, incite dance parties, inspire imagination, and distort everyday reality with cool art.

We are based in Austin, TX, URRTH (*earth), and on Sneaky Planet.
